a long day in the Florida sun, the Black Angus Steakhouse is the perfect
place to cool down, with its dark interior, oversized booths, contemporary
pop tunes, and proudly smiling servers.
The menu offers a sincere challenge: what to choose? Try the mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat; when they say smothered in cheese, they mean it.
Between the house specialties—chicken and pasta dishes—and selections of pizzas (on Italian herb focaccia), shrimp, and lobster tail, ordering is tough. There are other beef offerings—steak burgers, prime rib, filet mignon—but the Black Diamond is listed as Black Angus’ finest, spiced to tasty and full of grilled flavor cooked-to-order.
With your choice of sides—try the perfect mashed potatoes—each entrée is served with a friendly smile and comfort foods worth leaving home for, like ultra-soft bread with honey butter and fantastic homemade ranch dressing. The salad and fruit bar is also an excellent choice, alone or as a refreshing add-on.
Then comes the most challenging moment: dessert. The cheesecake was recommended, the Tuxedo Bombe fabulous (with white chocolate mousse!), and the Tiramisu most indulgent—the creamiest ever served in a martini glass.
In
addition to extensive beer and wine lists, Black Angus has a full bar and
a specialty drink menu with pages of exotic martinis. And you can come back
in the morning for breakfast entrees and the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet
starting at 7am.
