October brings a sea of pink to Central Florida as local restaurants, attractions and entertainment destinations come together to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
For Orlando residents and visitors, there are several ways to participate this year, from ordering a special meal or cocktail at Disney Springs to enjoying a night of bowling on International Drive or attending a charity car show in Kissimmee.
At OrlandoEscape.com, we love seeing local businesses turn everyday Orlando experiences into opportunities to support organizations working in breast cancer research, education and patient services. Here are several Breast Cancer Awareness initiatives worth knowing about as September leads into October.

Maria and Enzo’s and Enzo’s Hideaway Start the Giving Early at Disney Springs
You don’t have to wait until October to show your support.
Maria and Enzo’s and Enzo’s Hideaway at Disney Springs are getting an early start with a specialty September menu created in support of the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.
For visitors planning an evening at Disney Springs, it provides an easy way to combine dinner with a cause that affects families throughout Florida.
One of the featured dishes is Paccheri ($29), a house-made pasta served with cauliflower ragu, lemon olive oil, crushed pink peppercorns and Pecorino Romano.
The dish is joined by two colorful specialty cocktails.
The Pink Velvet ($20) combines Banfi Rosa Regale with J.F. Haden’s lychee liqueur, cranberry lime juice and soda. Its pink presentation makes it a fitting addition to the special menu.
For something with a brighter, tropical flavor profile, guests can order the HoneyDew ($19). The cocktail combines Absolut Citron and Midori with lemon juice, pineapple juice, cherry bitters and Fee Foam, finished with a pineapple leaf.
The specialty September offerings benefit the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation as the community prepares for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
Visitors can learn more and view current restaurant information through the Maria and Enzo’s official website.
Kings Orlando Goes Pink in October
The support continues a few miles away on International Drive.
Throughout October, Kings Orlando will offer pink socks as part of its Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative. For every pair purchased, $2 will be donated to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation to help support the organization’s research, education and support services.
It’s a simple addition to an Orlando night out that can help make a difference.
Kings Orlando combines bowling with arcade games, billiards, dining and drinks, making it an option for couples, families, groups of friends and corporate outings. The Orlando location is at 8255 International Drive.
If you’re already planning to bowl during October, picking up a pair of pink socks gives your visit an added purpose.
Find current hours and venue information on the Kings Orlando website.
Breast Cancer Awareness Car & Truck Show Returns to Sunset Walk
One of the larger community events planned for October takes place just outside Orlando at Promenade at Sunset Walk.
The 5th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month Car & Truck Show is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event will benefit the Orlando Health Cancer Institute, with Sunset Walk stating that 100% of the proceeds will go to the institute.
For car enthusiasts, there should be plenty to see. Show-quality vehicles of all makes and models are welcome, with awards planned in categories including Best of Show, Best Classic, Best Modern, Best Exotic, Best Truck and Best Breast Cancer Awareness Theme.
There will also be raffles, street performers and live music beginning at 4 p.m.
What You Need to Know
The show car entry fee is $30, which includes VIP Boulevard parking, while admission for spectators, friends and family is free.
That makes this an especially easy Breast Cancer Awareness event to add to a Central Florida weekend. You can stop by to see the cars and support the cause without purchasing a spectator ticket.
The Promenade at Sunset Walk is located at 3251 Margaritaville Boulevard in Kissimmee, near the Walt Disney World Resort area. In addition to the event, visitors will find more than 30 restaurants, shops and entertainment experiences throughout the complex.

Three Different Ways to Support One Important Cause
What stands out about these Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiatives is how different they are.
One person might choose to have dinner at Disney Springs. Another might spend an evening bowling on International Drive. A family might head to Sunset Walk on a Saturday afternoon to look at classic cars.
Each experience is different, but all provide an opportunity to bring more attention to breast cancer and the organizations working to help people affected by it.
For visitors, these events are also a reminder that there’s much more to Orlando than theme parks. Restaurants, entertainment venues and community gathering places throughout Central Florida regularly use their platforms to support local and statewide causes.
Planning an Orlando Visit During Breast Cancer Awareness Month
If you’re visiting Orlando in September or October, consider adding one of these experiences to your plans.
In September, a Disney Springs visit can include the specialty menu at Maria and Enzo’s or Enzo’s Hideaway. Once October begins, Kings Orlando offers another way to contribute while enjoying an International Drive night out.
Then on Saturday, October 10, the Breast Cancer Awareness Month Car & Truck Show at Sunset Walk provides a larger community event where families, residents and visitors can gather while supporting the Orlando Health Cancer Institute.
Small choices can add up when a community gets behind a cause.
We’ll continue watching for more Breast Cancer Awareness Month events and special hotel offers around Central Florida. Check back with OrlandoEscape.com as October approaches for more things to do, local events and ways to experience Orlando while supporting the community.
