Getting from Orlando International Airport to Walt Disney World just became a little easier for more travelers.

Beginning September 24, 2026, JetBlue passengers can take advantage of Disney’s Airport Luggage Transfer pilot program when staying at participating Disney Resorts Collection hotels. JetBlue joins American Airlines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines as participating carriers.

For travelers who would rather start their vacation without waiting around baggage claim, the service offers a convenient way to have checked luggage transferred between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

For families arriving with multiple suitcases, strollers and carry-ons, that could make the first and last days of a Disney vacation considerably easier.

What Is Disney’s Airport Luggage Transfer Service?

Airport Luggage Transfer at Disney is a pilot program provided by BagCheck for guests staying at participating Disney Resorts Collection hotels and traveling on eligible domestic flights through Orlando International Airport.

The service works in both directions.

When arriving in Orlando, registered guests can check their luggage with their participating airline at their departure airport and then skip baggage claim after landing at MCO. Their checked bags are transferred to their participating Disney Resort hotel.

When it’s time to head home, eligible guests can also leave their checked luggage with Luggage Assistance or Bell Services at their Disney hotel and have it sent ahead for their flight from Orlando International Airport.

That means less time handling luggage and more time focusing on the vacation.

JetBlue Is the Latest Airline to Join

The September 24 expansion brings the number of participating airlines to four:

• American Airlines
• JetBlue
• Southwest Airlines
• United Airlines

The addition of JetBlue is especially useful for travelers flying through MCO’s Terminal C, where JetBlue operates its Orlando flights.

Disney notes that additional airlines could be added to the program in the future, so travelers should check the current requirements before their trip.

Which Disney World Hotels Participate?

The service isn’t available at every Walt Disney World hotel yet. As of September 2026, Disney lists the following participating resorts:

• Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
• Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
• Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
• Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
• Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
• Disney’s Pop Century Resort

The inclusion of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort expanded the pilot beyond Disney’s Value Resort category, giving travelers another accommodation option where the service can be used.

How It Works When Flying to Orlando

Guests who want their bags transferred from Orlando International Airport to their Disney hotel need to register in advance.

Registration can be completed from 30 days before the flight until at least 24 hours before departure. Guests will need their Disney Resort confirmation number and flight confirmation number.

Those who register more than seven days before their flight may receive luggage tags in the mail. Guests registering closer to their travel date can still use the service even if they don’t receive the tags.

On travel day, guests check in with their airline and drop off their checked bags as usual.

After landing at MCO, there’s no need to stop at baggage claim. Guests can continue on to Walt Disney World while their luggage is handled separately.

Disney advises allowing up to four hours after the flight’s arrival for luggage to reach the resort. Bags can then be picked up from Luggage Assistance or Bell Services, or guests can request delivery to their room.

That makes it a good idea to keep anything you may need immediately after arrival — medications, swimsuits, chargers, park essentials and a change of clothes — in your carry-on.

What About the Trip Home?

The program can also make departure day easier.

Guests flying on one of the participating airlines can send their checked luggage ahead to Orlando International Airport.

Travelers should check in for their flight online beginning 24 hours before departure and pay any applicable airline baggage fees. Luggage must then be delivered to the resort’s Luggage Assistance or Bell Services area between 24 hours and four hours before the scheduled flight departure.

Guests will also need a valid government-issued photo ID and boarding pass when dropping off their luggage.

Once that’s taken care of, travelers can head to MCO without hauling their checked bags through the airport check-in process. The luggage can be collected at baggage claim after reaching the final destination.

Can You Use the Service Only One Way?

Yes.

Travelers don’t have to use Airport Luggage Transfer for both arrival and departure. As long as they meet the eligibility requirements, guests can choose to use the service when arriving at Walt Disney World, when heading home, or for both portions of the trip.

That flexibility could be particularly helpful for visitors whose arrival and departure travel arrangements are different.

A Helpful Perk for Disney World Travelers

Anyone who has traveled through a busy airport with several suitcases knows that getting the bags from point A to point B can sometimes feel like a trip of its own.

Disney’s expanding luggage transfer pilot won’t replace transportation between MCO and Walt Disney World — guests still need to arrange their own ride to and from the resort — but it can eliminate one of the more cumbersome parts of the airport experience.
