During the holiday season, see the spectacular transformation of Hogwarts castle during “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, meet “the mean, green one himself,” the Grinch, during Grinchmas, watch the gigantic balloons and floats take to the streets during Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, and so much more.

Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

The brilliantly created sections of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be converted into wizarding wonderlands for the holidays, with themed decorations, garlands, and lights along Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. The Frog Choir in Hogsmeade and Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees in Diagon Alley present holiday-themed shows.

And as night sets in Hogsmeade, guests may take in “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, an enchanting projection of holiday happiness and Christmas memories influenced by the well-known “Harry Potter” books.

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s at Universal Studios Florida

Universal Studios Florida’s Holiday Parade starring Macy’s features fan-favorite characters from Illumination’s Despicable Me and DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek and Madagascar, along with giant balloons, dozens of festive floats, and hundreds of festive performers. The parade ends with Santa Claus lighting the park’s 80-foot Christmas tree.

Grinchmas at Universal’s Islands of Adventure

The Grinch’s “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular” at Universal’s Islands of Adventure brings Dr. Seuss’s holiday classic to life.

In Seuss Landing, giant candy canes, twisted Christmas trees, wreaths, and tinsel ornaments will decorate the holiday season. Throughout Seuss Landing, tourists may see the Whos from Who-ville preparing for their favorite holiday and even meet the Grinch for a photo.

Mannheim Steamroller at Universal Studios Florida

On December 3, 4, 10, and 11, Mannheim Steamroller, the all-time best-selling Christmas performer, will return to Universal Studios Florida to liven up the atmosphere with the season’s most recognizable tunes.

The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast at Universal’s Islands of Adventure

The Grinch & Friends Character Meal returns, offering visitors a tasty breakfast and appearances by Dr. Seuss characters including the Grinch. This exclusive chance includes one digital download photo of guests with the Grinch.

The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast is available on select dates from November 12 through December 29, 2022 at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. For reservations click here.

This event costs $41.99 for adults and $26.99 for youngsters, plus theme park entry. Annual and Seasonal Passholders can save 20% on the dining experience’s ticketed price when they buy it in person at the front gate or Guest Services. Regular Seasonal and Power Pass blockout dates apply.

Universal Orlando Holiday Reservations

Universal’s Holiday Tour is available on select dates from November 13 – January 1, 2023 and can be booked by visiting www.universalorlando.com/holidays. Pricing starts at $79.99 (plus tax) and separate theme park admission with a 2-Park 1-Day Park-to-Park ticket is required.
