Sheila EThis family-friendly evening of jazz will be hosted by Steglich Ross and Associates and Church Street Entertainment which have partnered up with HAPCO, a non-profit devoted to helping young people in Central Florida build education in music and the arts. The opening act will be the incredibly talented Apopka High School Jazz Ensemble I, something that will inspire even the youngest attendees.

While the first notes are set to play at 4 pm with the high school jazz group, the event boasts some big names that will move your soul through music all evening. Stick around to see JJ Sansaverino, Four80East, Najee, and the headlining performance of none other than Sheila E. Tickets for general admission, preferred, and VIP seating are available.

The outdoor Orlando International Jazz Festival will go down whether it’s rainy or sunny, so if you’re concerned about the potential for getting wet, spring for either preferred or VIP seating. Both are undercover with preferred tickets costing $55 per person and VIP at $75 each. The incentives to go VIP is big since you will be given two complimentary beverages and light bites included in your ticket price.

If you’d prefer to sit in general admission on the lawn, tickets are $35 each. You’ll need to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets. Umbrellas are allowed until each act takes the stage so as not to obscure the view of any other attendees. You can always steal away to the vendor areas and bring back your own array of tasty foods to enjoy picnic-style.

As covered seating is limited, if you’re in town for the Orlando International Jazz Festival, you should get your tickets before they sell out. Even if you have a designated seat, arriving early ensures that you have plenty of time to explore all the unique vendors at the festival. Plot your food adventures, grab your drinks, and do a little shopping. You’ll have a wonderful time and help out an organization that promotes learning in music and the arts.
