When can I see Orlando Magic?

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Orlando’s local basketball team is Orlando Magic. Going to watch a basketball game is a thoroughly entertaining way to spend your evening, especially if basketball isn’t normally part of your home culture.

It’s so much more than a basketball game, as the stadium goes wild for the team and the entertainment provided during the quarter and half-time breaks.

More about Orlando Magic

Orlando Magic have been playing in the NBA, as part of the Eastern Conference, since 1989. There colors are blue and white, so dress accordingly if you want to be extra supportive.

The Amway Centre has been home for Orlando Magic, since 2010. It is also where the local minor league hockey team, Orlando Solar Bears and the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League (AFL) play too.

The most famous player to play for Orlando Magic is the almighty 7ft 1” (216cm) center Shaquille O’Neal. He was a player from 1992-1996 before he moved to the LA Lakers. Considered “one of the greatest centers to ever play the game,” this was the golden age of Orlando Magic. But after a recent revival, Orlando Magic is once again on the way up. Look out for current team favorites Nikola Vučević (9) and Aaron Gordon (00) when you watch.
