Start celebrating your love on Saturday 9 February at Mead Botanical Gardens. They will be hosting a fun and FREE Scavenger Hunt from 10 a.m. You´ll have 2 hours together searching for clues whilst smelling and admiring the beautiful flowers in the gardens.

Afterward, at 1 p.m. you can stroll hand in hand at the vintage market held at Will´s Pub. It is a retro-themed outdoor market, where you will hopefully find something special to buy for Valentine’s gift.

Alternatively, you can participate in Cupid´s Undie Run. This fun run takes place before, after and during a party, with the purpose of raising money for Neurofibromatosis. This will definitely be an activity you’ll both never forget. Just make sure you are wearing your best undies. It all takes place at Elixir Orlando at 9 West Washington Street and costs $40 each to enter.

Valentine’s Day – February 14th

For the traditional couples, here are some fun and of course romantic date ideas for the actual day, which this year takes place on a Thursday.

How does spending an hour locked up together sound? This Valentine´s Day enhance your teamwork by trying to escape a locked room by solving puzzles and riddles. Orlando has a few escape rooms, but the best ones are The Great Escape Room and The Escape Room Orlando. Good luck!

For a romantic evening with music get yourself tickets to Ricky and the Buzzcatz concert at Harry P. Leu Gardens. Tickets cost $15 each when bought in advance and $20 at the gate. With the event taking place from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. it’s an ideal night time activity to enjoy after a delicious meal.

Alternatively, for a unique date, involving fancy dress, head back in time to the roaring 1920s at the District Event Centres, Gatsby Soiree. You´ll experience 4 memorable hours full of entertainment, including a 3-course meal, a comedy show, dancing, and a live band. A couple can purchase their tickets for $140 + booking fee and choose from a chicken, fish or vegetarian main course.
