On Saturday, 25^th January 2020, SeaWorld Orlando, will be holding the SeaWorld Rescue Run! This family fun event is going to be both, special and memorable, for all who take part.

This is no normal running race! Usually, a running race sees a mass of people, pounding the streets with nothing but concrete in front of them, surrounded by commercial buildings.

The SeaWorld Rescue Race Run will give all that enter a glimpse of the wonderful SeaWorld animals, as they happily run, with their loved ones, along 3 miles of scenic and charming pathways.

To make the event extra special, the finish line is going to be at the fantastic Shamu Stadium! How cool is that?! In addition, you’ll experience a FREE Killer Whale Show, (tickets are available, for non-runners).

How to Enter the SeaWorld Rescue Run

All of the money raised from registration and ticket sales benefits the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund, which supports ‘animal rescue, habitat protection, and conservation education programs in the U.S. and around the world’.

Various fees apply depending on when you purchase your ticket and whether you’re participating in the Fun Run or the Kids Fun Run, which is for kids aged 7 and under.

Fees for the SeaWorld Orlando Rescue Run

FUN RUN Registration Fees* – $55, when purchased from November 16 – December 31, 2019. After this date the price increase to $60 and again on race day to $65.

KIDS FUN RUN Registration Fees* – $10, when purchased from now until January 24, 2020. Race day entry costs $15. Kids must be 7 years old or younger to participate.

Spectator Killer Whale Show Ticket* – For non-runners attending the event, the Killer Whale Show is available for $15, when purchased in advance, or $20 on the day of the event, January 25, 2020.

*All Registration Fees for the Fun Run Event, Kids Fun Run, and Spectator Show Ticket – includes FREE parking at SeaWorld.

All SeaWorld Ambassadors (employees), Annual Pass Members, and Military personnel will receive 10% OFF the registration fee until January 24th ONLY. Employee ID, Annual Pass and ID, and Military ID must be shown at the time of Packet Pick-up. This discount cannot be combined with any other discounts.

What is included in the registration fee?

Your registration fee doesn’t only pay for you to take part in this worthy cause, you also get a few perks and memorabilia:

• Fun Run participants will receive an Inaugural SeaWorld’s Rescue Run Finisher’s medal, Commemorative SeaWorld’s Rescue Run Race T-Shirt (adult sizes and unisex), and Commemorative SeaWorld’s Rescue Run Water Bottle.
• Kids Fun Run, inside SeaWorld Orlando near Shamu Stadium, will each receive an awesome Finisher’s medal.
• Plus, an invitation to the Finish Line Festival, with food and refreshments, Free Race Day parking and access to the Post-race Killer Whale Show (limited spectator tickets)

Event Timeline for the SeaWorld Orlando Rescue Run

For those wanting to participate and support, here is how the day will look:

• 5:45 a.m.- Registration and Packet Pickup Opens (near SeaWorld main entrance)
• 6:00 a.m.- Parking lot closes (Please plan to be on-site at least 45 minutes prior to race start)
• 7:00 a.m.- START of the 3 Mile FUN RUN
• 7:15 a.m.- Finish line festival begins with SeaWorld Animals and Characters awaiting you at the post-race festival
• 8:00 a.m.- Awards Ceremony (near the finish line area)
• 8:30 a.m.- Kids Fun Run Start
• 9:15 a.m.- FREE Killer Whale Show experience (20 – 25-minute show)
