hot air balloon flights in the Disney World area of Orlando Florida.
Each morning at 6 a.m. near the main entrance to Disney World he begins
with a Pre-Flight briefing to explain all about the trip and answer
questions from that mornings passengers. Then it's outside to launch a
small helium balloon and track the winds to determine launch and landing
sites for that mornings flight. At the launch site passengers are
allowed to join in as the balloon is prepared and inflated for flight.
Once onboard the passengers will have their photograph taken for display
on the companies website. The flight time is about an hour, upon landing
Capt Thompson will explain the history of balloon flight and celebrate
with the traditional Champagne Toast! Pilot and passengers return for an
all you can eat buffet breakfast where each passenger is awarded their
first flight certificate. Plan on 3 to 4 hours for the entire adventure.
Reservations are required. The balloon flight is weather permitting and we recommend that you choose a day near the beginning of your stay to allow for back up days in case of bad weather. You will be done with your balloon adventure before the theme parks are even open. Hotel pick up and drop off are available for a small fee. Family rates are available.
