Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival
The 17th Annual Epcot International Flower
& Garden Festival is back beginning March 3 - May 16, 2010.
During this seasonal celebration, families and garden enthusiasts blooms with Disney magic! Meet well known horticulturists and enjoy an enchanting evening "under the stars" at the Flower Power Concert Series featuring music from the 60's and 70's at the America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase.
This unique festival will take place in the park's Future World and World Showcase where gardening aficionados and speakers will demonstrate hands on seminars and unique planting techniques. More than a millions blooms, floral beds, artfully crafted bonsai trees, lush rose gardens and Disney character topiaries will grace the park's 300 acres.
The year’s theme is the
"Great Outdoors" featuring
Donald Duck and his topiary pals setting up camp in full floral color at Epcot's front entrance.
Other depicted topiaries of your favorite Disney Characters include
a live waterfall and pond featuring Goofy in a fly-fishing misadventure, Daisy Duck roasting marshmallows over a campfire and Pluto in his
"pup tent".
Also, Nightly Flower Power concerts will rock the landscape with live entertainment from top acts of the 1960s and '70s, including Tony Orlando in Concert, Chubby Checker & the Wildcats and well known singer Jose Feliciano.
2010 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival Highlights
- New This Year! - “Community Garden” – View Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy creating their first Community Garden of beans, peppers and herbs as a salute to the many community gardens being planted across the country located in the American Adventure Pavillion.
- New This Year! - Herbs and Vegetables Home Grown - Learn how to use our water resources intelligently. Presented by Rainbird Corporation. Located in the Canada Pavilion.
- New This Year! - American Gothic Mickey and Minnie Mouse (inspired on the 1930 Grant Wood painting.) At World Showcase Plaza

- Green Garden - Adjacent to the Morocco Pavilion – Learn how to create an environmentally friendly, low-input garden and also incorporating native plants into their garden and recycling.
- Cindellebration - Cinderella’s coronation day topiary spectacle.
- Let’s Get Moving – Imagination Walkway - See Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald and Goofy, captured in topiary, doing their favorite outdoor activities
- Fawn’s Butterfly House at Pixie Hollow - Test Track Walkway - Featuring some of your favorite fairies, in topiary, from Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure. Play structures designed for children ages 2-5.
- Pirates Adventure Zone - Adjacent to German Pavilion - Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Croc topiaries will lure young swashbucklers to this interactive space designed for exploration and adventure. Play structures designed for kids 6 and older.
- Minnie's Magnificent Butterfly Garden - Test Track Walkway – View hundreds of free-flying butterflies as you walk in this distinctive garden and butterfly house.
- Disney Gardening at Home presentations - Disney horticulturists will share gardening tips and lead guests in a hands-on, take-home activity.
- The Garden Town Festival Center - Great opportunity to ask the experts about gardening questions and view demonstrations of how to create the perfect garden. Shop for festival merchandise and other items to help you achieve the garden of your dreams.
Festival highlights of 2009

- Fragrance Garden - France Pavilion - Presented by Guerlain - Experience the pleasure of this captivating garden, featuring the fragrances of Guerlain. Complimentary 20 minute tours are scheduled at 2:00pm, 4:00pm and 6:00pm. Sign up at the Guerlain Shop located in the La Signature.
- English Tea Garden - United Kingdom Pavilion – Presented by Twinings - Discover the history and art of tea blending. Complimentary twenty-minute guided tour at the Tea Caddy scheduled at 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays and 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.
- Celebrate the Art and Music of the Disney's Fantasia - Behind Spaceship Earth - Find select Disney Characters from Walt Disney Pictures' Fantasia.
- Simba's Birthday Celebration - World Showcase Plaza – Celebrate Simba's birthday! See the Lion King movie classic scene recreated in a topiary.
- Bonsai Collection - Japan Pavilion - View the beautiful bonsai displays showcased throughout the Japanese garden.
- Be Our Guest - Future World, Fountain Stage plaza - See some of the characters from Beauty and the Beast.
- Floral Floating Islands - East and West Lake, concourse World Showcase
- Amore nel Giardino (Love in the Garden) - Italy Pavilion – View the beautiful flowers surrounded by the Lady and the Tramp characters.
- Bromeliad Dragon - China Pavilion – Catch a glimpse of a topiary dragon as he wades among the Temple of Heaven.
- Norway Troll Trek - Norway Pavilion - The Trolls are loose in the Norway Garden! See how many you can find!
- Palm Walkway - Imagination Walkway - Presented by Diaz Palms
- Water Works - Canada Pavilion - Presented by Rain Bird Corporation

Epcot's Flower Power Concert Series 2010
Groove and rock at the Flower Power Concert Series. Feel the vibes of some of the biggest names in music from the 60's and 70's under the skies of the open-air America Gardens Theater. Three shows nightly at 5:45 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.
