Florida Horseback Eco Safari Adventure
Many people outside of Florida don’t realize the rich cattle ranching heritage of the Sunshine State. There are even areas of undeveloped Orlando where cattle can be seen grazing within a few yards of a major expressway. Just a few miles away from the theme parks that have made Orlando famous are acres of pristine wilderness that you can enjoy on your next
Orlando vacation, thanks to the Horseback Eco Safari Adventure.
There is plenty of cowboy country in Central Florida if you know where to look. Some of the oldest horseback riding trails in the region were forged by Native American tribes that occupied these territories in the 1500s. Florida’s earliest settlers from other parts of the United States also blazed trails in some of the very spots where you will be riding. As part of the Horseback Eco Safari Adventure you will saddle up for a one hour ride around the ranch and then sit back on the Swamp Buggy for a ride through the Florida wilderness. You never know what you might find, and a trained guide will be there to show you every step of the way.
Adults and children ages 12 and up can participate, with a parent or guardian, as first-time riders. Children as young as 10 can participate with a parent or guardian if the child has previous riding experience.
