Disney-MGM Studios has reinvented itself as Disney’s Hollywood Studios as it unveils new attractions and breakthrough experiences. According to Walt Disney World Resort’s president, Meg Crofton, the new name “reflects how the park has grown from representing the golden age of movies to a celebration of the new entertainment that today’s Hollywood has to offer—in music, television, movies and theater.”

So what’s new in Hollywood? Disney Channel’s original movie, “High School Musical 2,” comes to life in the interactive show, “High School Musical 2: School’s Out!” You’ll catch Wildcat fever as you sing and dance to the movie’s hit songs alongside the show’s high-energy performers. The dance finale features one of the soundtrack’s hits, “All for One,” and a reprise of “We’re All in This Together.”

The party doesn’t stop there. Now you can play and dance with characters from your favorite animated films like “Toy Story,” “The Incredibles,” “A Bug’s Life,” “Cars,” “Finding Nemo,” “Ratatouille,” and “Monsters, Inc.” in the all new Disney•Pixar parade, “Block Party Bash.” Let yourself go wild as you rock to retro tunes and enjoy high-flying acrobatics.

Are you looking for a chance to perfect your Jedi skills? “Star Wars” combines with the magic of Disney to create an intergalactic entertainment experience at the “Jedi Training Academy.” As a Jedi hopeful, or “Padawan,” you’ll learn lightsaber strategy before you meet your ultimate test against Darth Vader himself.

The kids will have their own fun singing, clapping and dancing to a whole new cast of performing stars in “Playhouse Disney-Live on Stage!” After the show, newcomer Handy Mandy will join JoJo and Goliath and Little Einsteins for meet and greets with their fans.
